Letter from Dr. Henry Richard Linderman to Director of the Mint, James Ross Snowden. Snowden had given Linderman temporary leave of his position at the Mint to go to Mauch Chunk (now Jim Thorpe) Pennsylvania to help with an epidemic of Cholera that had gripped the community. Linderman was Director's Clerk to Snowden at the time, having recently left his practice in the Mauch Chunk area to his brother Dr. Garrett B. Linderman.
