The most injust part of this (see comment at bottom on father's 'suicide' ...) is that in The Singing Heart (must link to the pdf...), she points out that her mother won the case against the insurance company, therefore proved that Wayne Manzilla was murdered. Who would not wander at night, worried for his family, if as someone told me, many in the OK Black community who owned property were threatened in order to get their mineral rights (oil, apparently...)?
