Sarah McIntosh, Mary Taylor & Martha Taylor support the troops

The U.S. had just declared war against Germany and the soon-to-be-united Taylor and McIntosh women show their support for the troops. Sarah McIntosh (L) is dressed in what is probably a uniform of her future husband Clark Arnett, son of Mary Taylor, who had recently returned from Army service on the Mexican border and was on his way to a training camp for deployment to France in World War I. Young Martha Taylor (R) is dressed in a sailor outfit that was a fashion for women of that decade, and somewhat prophetic in that her future husband, Paul Gillette, would serve as a Navy Seabee in World War II.
