Cecil Roth Jr.
This photograph is from the family collection of Mabel Mitchell (Rethemeier) Mulligan, cousin to the Rasmus children. My grandmother Mabel gave me this photo along with others from her original home area from around Mr. Pleasant, Iowa, when she was downsizing.

The paper frame has the professional marking on the front: "BAUMAN, BURLINGTON, IOWA." On the back of the matching photo of Neva in Mabel Mulligan's hand is written: "Sam and Laura Rasmus' only daughter - Boys Cecil and Kenneth." This is the matching frame and photo of all three Rasmus children, Kenneth, Neva, and Cecil V, but with no inscription on the back of it. Neva is wearing the same outfit in both pictures I'm uploading today. --- Cecil J. Roth, Jr. 18 Feb 2024.
