This is one of my grandmother's photos. I have the original and scanned to computer. This is one of Robert and Violet Brierty's eight sons, unfortunately I don't know which one. Looks like 1880s to 1890s. I think this is most likely to be Charles Henry who like Alex and Fred went to Qld in the 1880s. I have pictures of Sam, Alex and Fred; Edwin and Robert had passed away before this period; John had a disability affecting his left side; and Jim died in 1887 but had a wife and numerous children by this time - so would he have a solo portrait done - I think more likely to be one who moved away.
