Transcription:
I see the widow occasionally since the soldier died. She lives with her daughter, is not married and does not live with any man. She has no property to my knowledge, has no income except what she earns. She works out by the day. Her reputation is good. I have known her about thirty years past. I signed an affidavit in her claim or made my mark. I am not related, am not interested in this case. My answers have been correctly written.
