Research Notes
According to [1] Maria had six sons with Grigore and Grigore married again to have another two daughters. This does not match with Maria getting much older than Grigore, unless the were divorced.
Biography
Μαρία (Maria) was born in 1779. She was the daughter of Κωνσταντίνος Χαντζερής and Ρωξάνα Γκίκα. She passed away in 1871.
Maria is buried at the palace of Ghica Tei[2]
