Biography
Elizabeth Huston was born on 1 March 1764 in Gorham, Maine. Her parents were Simon Huston and Elizabeth (Elder) Huston[1].
She married Reuben Elder on 4 February 1787[2]. They had eight children[3]:
- 1. Lydia, born 24 Nov 1787; died 1806
- 2. Mary, born 7 Jun 1789; died 1798
- 3. Elizabeth H., born 25 Feb 1791
- 4. Simon, born 15 Feb 1793; died 10 Apr 1793
- 5. Reuben, born 17 Oct 1794; married Ruth Smith
- 6. Rebecca, born 21 Jun 1796; died 1798
- 7. Simon, born 2 Sep 1798; married Hannah Edwards
- 8. John, born 8 Jun 1800; married Eliza Thomas
Elizabeth passed away on 14 January 1840 in Gorham, Maine[4].
