Biography

Albion Dyer son of O Dyer and Hannah Richards was born March 1828 in Strong, Franklin, Maine.^[1]

He married Minerva Luce (1830-1883) in 1850,in Maine. The couple had 3 known children.

1. Frederick Albion Dyer (1852-1917)
2. Frank L Dyer (1854-1932)
3. Charles E " C B" Dyer (1864-1929)

Albio (age 22) and Minerva (age 21) started out their married life in the home of Albion's parents in Strong, Franklin Maine where he was Farming.^[2]

They made their home in Strong, Franklin, Mine. He worked as a Store Clerk in 1960, in Strong, with Minerva taking care of the home and their children, Fred-7, Frank-6 and Charlies-4 months old.^[3] He was farming in 1870, in Strong, with the boys, Fred-17, Frank-16, and charles-6 helping.^[4]

By 1880 they had moved on to Topeka, Shawnee, Kansas where he was a Merchant. Only CB-16 remained in the home.^[5]

His wife Minerva E passed away in 1883 in Topeka, Kansas, at the age of 53.

Albion Dyer married Julia N __ in 1886 when he was 58 years old.

At age 72, He and Julia had been married 14 years. He was working as a Salesman, in Topeka.^[6] Albion (age 77) and Julia-age 64 were in Shawnee, Kansas in 1905, in that years Kansas Census.^[7]

He died at the age of 77 in 1905, in Topeka, Shawnee, Kansas, and was buried in the Topeka Cemetery there.^[1]
