Biography

Catherine Sawyer was born on 7 July 1794 in Limington, Maine. Her parents were Samuel Sawyer and Abigail (Dyer) Sawyer^[1].

She married Solomon Anderson on 13 September 1825 in Limington^[2]. They had three children:^[1]

1. Rishworth Jordan, born 1827; married Hannah Sawyer
2. Joanna Dyer, born 1829; married Isaac Hancock
3. John, born 15 Dec 1831

Catherine's date of death is uncertain, but Solomon remarried in 1835, so it's likely she died around that time.^[1]
