Biography
Roger Vawr was of Llechry, and descended from Drumbenog, lord of Cantrev Selfyf, son of Maenyrch ab Dryfin, Prince of Brecknock. His brother, Bleddyn, was the last Welsh sovereign of Brecknock, slain in battle circa 1100, and was the ancestor of Sir David Gam, knight banneret of Agincourt.[1]
