Biography

Lucy Strong was born 6 Feb 1807 to parents Asahel Strong and Sarah (Munson) Strong in Durham, Middlesex, Connecticut.^[1]

Lucy married Edwin H. Hubbard on 17 Sep 1825 in Durham, Connecticut.^[2]

Lucy's father, Asahel Strong wrote a will^[3] on 22 Sep 1862 in which he mentioned his wife Sarah, his granddaughter Julia A. Robinson, daughter of his deceased son Munson Strong, his son George W. Strong, and his daughters Nancy Tibbals, Lucy Hubbard, Mary Hubbard, and Sarah Loveland. His wife died just under four weeks later on 18 Oct 1862. About two and half months after her passing, on 10 Jan 1863, the court decreed that Asahel was unfit to care for his own affairs, and he was appointed a guardian. He passed away two and a half months later, on 27 Mar1863.

Lucy died on 20 January 1892.^[4]
