MISSING GENERATION: His alleged wife, Helena, born c1324 should be attached to his son John Bacon of Bradfield (c1320-1384), who is left out. His wife was his alleged mother, Cecily Hoo, who was born c1300, not the 1259 which is listed. Her mother was born in 1277, after Cecily's listed birth.

Cecily Hoo, if she existed, could not have been born before 1294, when her mother's (Hawise FitzWarin) first husband died and her first daughter with him was born. Hawise married Robert de Hoo after that date. 1300 is a good estimate. If she existed.

However, the Visitation of Norfolk 1563 has her from a much later generation of Hoo, daughter of WIlliam of Wisset and Rose Glemham, although William's descent in the Visitation is incorrect.

Note that this lineage has date issues. This John was born c1285 according to the 'Generations" listing. c1320 is far too late to be possible since his mother was born c1259. So changed the estimated DOB to c1285 (which also agrees with the Bio section).
