Biography

Lillie was first married to John Peer. He died in 1890. She then married Robert G. Holloway on 25 Dec 1894 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Dec 1, 1887

Mr. John J. Peer and Miss Lillie Wainwright were married last Thursday,at the residence of the bride's father near Greenland. They are two ofour best young people and the best wishes of a host of friends will everattend them.

Fayetteville Democrat, Nov. 24th. The bride is a niece of M.G.Wainwright of Evening Shade, who joins with his estimable family insending congratulations.

Last Rites for Mrs. Leidecker’s Mother

Funeral services will be held at Owens-Brumley Funeral Chapple for Mr. Lillian Holloway, 76, who died at the home of her daughter, Mr. O. B. Leidecker, 603 Liveoak St., Bowie, Wednesday. Rev. T. C. Vinson, Presbyterian pastor, will conduct the services and burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.

Mrs. Holloway had taught school in Oklahoma and California where she lived for a number of years.

Her son-in-law, Mr. Leidecker, is superintendent of production for the Continental Oil Company in the Bowie area.

Besides the daughter, she is survived by one sister, Mrs. D. H. Middleton, Pasadena, California, and two grandchildren. – ‘’The Bowie News,” April 7, 1944
