Biography
Emma J. Beers, age 9, appears in the 1860 U. S. Census, the daughter of Wheeler Beers and Emily Beers of Bridgeport, Fairfield County, Connecticut, USA.[1]
Emma married Charles E. Axtell on 3 April 1772 in Bridgeport. Charles died 9 November 9, 1776, age 27 years, 11 months, "without children."[2]
