Biography

Robert Knaggs was born in 1829 in Norton, County Durham, England, United Kingdom, son of Robert Knaggs (1802–1879) and Ann Adamson (1796–1851).

In 1881 he was a widower working at Langton Grange, Langton, Co. Durham as a gardener to Henry John Trotter, a Barrister.
