Sir Richard Ingoldsby was born about 1560 in Lethenborough, Buckinghamshire. He was High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire in 1606. Richard married, about 1580, Elizabeth Palmer, daughter of William Palmer of Waddesdon, Buckingamshire and Joyce Pigot Palmer, (b. 20 Dec 1548, married 28 Aug 1572). Sir Richard was still living in 1634 and supposedly died in 1635.
Sir Richard's brother Francis married Margery, 5th daughter and coheir of Reginald Brag of Stean in Northampton.
FYI, I found various spellings of "Ingoldsby," families which may or may not be related, in "Alumni Oroninses: The Members of the University of Oxford 1500-1714." Brother of David and William. 'See Fosters Inns of Court Reg.' "
