Henry Manners, 2nd Earl of Rutland, was the son of Thomas Manners, 1st Earl of Rutland and Eleanor Paston.[1] He died on 17 September 1563. His widow Bridget went on to remarry Francis Russell, 2nd earl of Bedford.[2]
Henry's first wife is Margaret Neville, daughter of Ralph Neville, 4th Earl of Westmorland and Lady Catherine Stafford. They married 02 or 03 July 1536 when Henry was about nine-years-old.[3] They had the following children:

Elizabeth (c. 1553 – c. 1590), m. Sir William V Courtenay (1553–1630), de jure 3rd Earl of Devon
He married his second wife Bridget Hussey before 1563. She was the widow of Sir Richard Morison (b. by 1516 - d. 20 Mar 1556) of Casiobury.[2] Her parents were Sir John Hussey, 1st Lord Hussey and Anne Grey.
