Laurence Cheney of Fen Ditton, Camb.;
and Elizabeth, dau. of John Cokayne of Hatley, Camb

She married John Alington, esq. of Horse Heath, Haleworth and Great Wymondley (b. in or bef. 1428 - d. 25 Aug 1480; bur. Wymondley priory, Herts). They are the parents of:

m.1 Elizabeth, dau. of Sir William Sapcote of Elton, Huntingdon and Anne, dau. of Nicholas, 1st Lord Vaux of Harrowden
m.2 (May 1479 settlement) Elizabeth (bur. Wethersfield, Essex; will 19 May 1527, proved 15 Nov 1528 PCC 41 Porch), dau. of Henry Wentworth of Codham, Essex and Elizabeth, d & h. of Henry Howard.[2]
