HAMILTON RYLES. On the 14th July, at the Wesleyan Chapel, Sheaoak Log, by the Rev. R. C. Flockart, by special licence, Mr. William Hamilton, to Miss Margaret Ryles, both of Freeling.[2]
Research Notes
His age at marriage in 1864 was recorded as 20, making him born c1844, 10 years after the year recorded here as his birth.
The William Hamilton that died in 1902 in Adelaide was only 22 years old, so not this William. [3][4]
No other deaths in South Australia match a possible year of birth between 1835-1844. Also, the Margaret Hamilton that died in 1897 in South Australia was the wife of a Robert Hamilton, not William. Nothing further located on this couple (William and Margaret)
