Birth

Francis Cragin was born at Acton, Massachusetts, on 2 Mar 1742/43, the son of John Cragin and Judith (Barker) Cragin, and the twin brother of Anna Cragin.^[1]

Marriages

1. Francis Cragin married Elisabeth Law at Acton, Massachusetts, on 9 Sep 1766.^[2] Elisabeth Cragin died about 1767.^[3]
2. Francis Cragin and Sibil (or Sibella) Piper, both of Acton, Massachusetts, married there on 30 Mar 1773.^[4] The first of their 10 children was born at Temple, New Hampshire, on 24 Oct 1773.^[3]

Death

The gravestone of Francis Cragin at the Hill Cemetery in New Ipswich, New Hampshire, says that he died on 28 Aug 1826 at the age of 84.^[5]
