Elizabeth Seymour was a daughter of Edward Seymour and his second wife, Anne Stanhope born 1550. She was specifically called the "youngest daughter" and "in her second year" in November 1552. Her father's power did not last and he was executed at Tower Hill on 22 January 1552. Her mother, Anne, married Francis Newdigate about 1558.
She married the Puritan widower, Richard Knightley, son of Valentine Knightley and his wife, Anne Ferrers. She is said to have borne him 7 sons and 2 daughters.
Elizabeth died in 1602 and was buried on 6 June at Norton, Northamptonshire.
