Biography

Mary Orton was born 16 May 1650 at Windsor Connecticut.^[1]

Mary was the daughter of Mary Paul, Pell, Pall or Margaret Pratt? and her husband, Thomas Orton of Farmington, Connecticut.^[1]

Mary married Samuel Root of Westfield, Massachusetts, the son of John Root and his wife, Mary Kilbourne.^[1] Lieutenant Samuel Root died on 26 November 1711 at Westfield.^[1]

On 3 December 1713 at Westfield, Joseph Persons, Justice, married Mark and Mary Root, the widow of Samuel Root of Westfield, and the daughter of Mary Paul, Pell, Pall or Pratt? and her husband, Thomas Orton of Farmington, Connecticut.^[1]

Mary Warner died at Westfield on 23 October 1732.^[1]
