Ellen was daughter of Robert de Legh of Adlington, Cheshire, and his wife, Mabel, daughter of Sir William de Stanley.[1]
Ellen married John Pygot of Chetwynd, Shropshire, who was born in 1434.[1]
Ellen and John had children:
Robert Pigott of Chetwynd, sheriff of Shropshire in 1517, married Margaret, daughter of Sir John Blount of Kinlet;[1]
