I found several Peryman /Perriman's in Drewsteignton presumably farmers however there might be familial connection between Pomeroys & Perryman in Chagford - John Perriman & William Ford the wealthy wool merchant , both in Chagford - Ford was grandfather to John Ford who married Mary Pomeroy of Ingsdon 1588 John Perryman married by banns 7 June 1596 to Christian Sowford at Chagford and others I have the image of the parish Register Children of Edward and Wilmot Their 1st child Susanna was baptised Drewsteignton in January 1602- the year running from March to March William POMERY 25 Sep 1606 Baptism Brixham, Devon, son of Edward Arthur Pomeroy Bb son of Edward 8 Jan 1608 HONOR POMEROY d/o EDWARD & WILMOT 18 April 1611 ARTER POMEROY s/o EDWARD & WILMOT 11 May 1614 died in infancy Mistress Wilmot Pomery died & was buried at St Marys, Brixham on 22 Jan 1660 my notes on Perryman are incomplete but might give a lead to her parentage PERRYMAN in Drewsteignton Susanna Perryman buried Crediton 1625 Richaurde Perryman married John Wadlande at Drewsteignton 4 Nov 1611 Margery Perryman buried 1622 Nicholas Perryman buried 3 April 1608 http://www.newcombe.info/Newcombe%20of%20Chagford.html
