- @HX-WRSW page 255 FAMILY SKETCHES AND NOTES. ELKANAH DAY.........and married Polly McWhorter in Granville March 17, 1788....removed from Granville with his family to this town in 1806.......Presbyterian (then Congregational) church soon after its organization; his wife was one of the ten of which it was formed in 1808. Mrs. Day died in 1819. They had twelve children.(?)
