Samuel Wadsworth^[1] married by about 1660 to "Abigail Lindall, daughter of James Lindall (so stated in 1853 by John A. Vinton, with no evidence supplied)."^[2]

Subject: The Wadsworth Monument which commemorates the Battle of Green Hill on April 21, 1676 when Captain Samuel Wadsworth and 28 soldiers lost their lives in a day long battle with Philip of Pokanoket and more than 1,000 braves ( King Philip’s War 1675-1676).
