Biography

Rosanna Quigley was born on January 23,1858, in Michigan. Her father George Quigley, was born in New York; her other was born in Wales.

Rosanna married William Gillmore on January 23, 1876, in Montcalm County, Michigan.

Rosanna had a son on July 2, 1876, in Austin Township, Mecosta, Michigan. They named him Charles S. Gillmore.

The 1880 U.S. Census for Austin Township, Mecosta County, Michigan, finds the following household: William Gillmore, white male, age 29, farmer, born Canada, parents born Canada; Rosana Gillmore, white female, age 22, wife, keeping house, born MI, father born NY, mother born Wales; Charley L. Gillmore, age 4, son, born MI; George K. Gillmore, age 2, son, born MI; Gracy Edna Gillmore, age 1 month, born May, daughter, born MI. William's brother John is just below him, and Thomas Quigley is a bit above.

William Gillmore died about around 1885, leaving Rosanna a widow with three young chilren.

On April 15, 1886, Rosanna married Samuel Bandfeld.
