Look at the sources. What in the world does a Baron in Scotland have to do with Freedmen records? This is 300 years earlier and in a different country. What do Freedmen records have to do with this guy?

There is a problem here. William is listed here as the 2nd Lord of Fordell, but when you click on his father George Henderson, George is listed as the 2nd Lord of Fordell. One of these is wrong. Then another problem arises. If you look up the Fordells, George is not a "Laird" of Fordell, but rather a Baron. "Lairds" came to an end a full century earlier. William, while a son of George, is not listed as a Baron, as his father and he died the same day and same year at the Battle of Pinkie. William's brother James is actually the 3rd Baron of Fordell.
