Biography
Mary (Dull) McMinn was a Latter Day Saint pioneer.
Mary Dull was born in 1786 in Pennsylvania, United States. [1][2][3][4]
She married Heber Chase Kimball on May 21, 1848, in Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois United States (see Research Notes).
She married John Andrews McMinn before 1806, possibly in Canada (son John Andrew born in 1806, Nova Scotia, Canada per his Find A Grave Memorial). [5]
She was the mother of Margaret Warrell (Worrell) Mc Minn [6] who Heber married first in February,1846, in Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois, United States. (see article in Wikipedia).
She died July 12, 1873 in the Utah Territory, United States. [7][8]
Research Notes
- Although the LDS Pioneer Overland Travel search indicates she traveled with "familly", no others with surname McMinn traveled overland with the Edward Hunter Company in 1850. Nor is her daughter Margaret listed.
- Although the Wikipedia article lists Mary as wife of Heber Chase Kimball, no other record was located to prove their marriage. Mary is not listed as one of Heber's wives on the Nauvoo Community Project (http://nauvoo.byu.edu/SearchResults.aspx?GivenName=Heber&Surname=Kimball&Gender=M).
