Research Notes
This profile needed sources for birth date, marriage to Rebecca (Woodward) Dixon (and children Susanna Dixon, Joseph Dixon, Thomas Dixon, William Dixon IV, and Sarah Dixon) and death date of November 20, 1833 (a merged profile had same day/month, but 1835).
In response to a G2G post, the following source information for the parents attached to duplicate profile, Dixon-3717, was given.
Looking at Historic-Genealogy of Kirk Family p. 25, the parents on Dixon-3717 are correct. It also gives marriage date and death dates without citation. William, wife Rebecca, sons Joseph and William granted removal from New Garden MM to Westland MM per Swarthmore College; Swarthmore, Pennsylvania; Certificates of Removal, 1781-1814; Collection: Quaker Meeting Records; Call Number: MR Ph:336. Marriage cited[1]
New Garden Monthly Meeting with William's parents listed as above Swarthmore College; Swarthmore, Pennsylvania; Marriage Records, 1765-1799; Collection: Quaker Meeting Records; Call Number: MR Ph:337

Dixon-1149 and Dixon-3717 appear to represent the same person because: These still look like duplicates & should be merged but the parents also still need to be resolved (they have different parents). I wasn't successful in finding a resolution to that problem.
Brenda - I'm confident that William Dixon & Hannah (Hollingsworth) had a son named William (based on information in Hannah's profile). I don't see anything that shows in that family's profile that shows he married Rebecca Woodward. I think we should leave these profiles for Rebecca's husband William in an unmerged match till we get sources (for William Dixon-1149) & collaboration for your FamilySearch source (FamilySearch links crash my computer, so I haven't checked whether the link it to a submitted tree or documented source). Thanks!
Dixon-3717 and Dixon-1149 are not ready to be merged because: oops! Just realized the parents don't match. That will need to be resolved first. I adopted Dixon-1149, but I've found Glenn Dixon's gedcom to be fairly reliable (aside from its adding "January 1" if no month/day in date field).
