Biography
One slave was enumerated in Abraham's household for the 1810 US Census,
His will is dated 21 June 1848 and recorded in Fairfield. He mentions his wife Finette, his daughter Finette Edwards Benson, his grandson, Abraham Benson Ricker (son of his daughter Susan A. Riker), his grandson Stewart Brown Lewis (son of his daughter Carolin M. Lewis), and Thaddeus Starr Edwards, son of Charles Edwards.[1]
His inventory was recorded on 26 April 1849 in Fairfield.[2]
In 1850, the estate distribution was set out to the widow, Finette, and Abraham Benson Ryker (son of Susan A. Ryker).[3]
