Debunking
There is no documentation in the Visitations, in Burke's Peerage and Gentry, nor in parish church records to prove this person and her family existed. The only sources available are undocumented online private trees and an undocumented Find a Grave Memorial. [1]
Knowledge of an exact birth date (29 September 1450) for this time period would be unusual, as it was more likely for a date of baptism to be preserved. Also, knowledge of an exact death date would also be unusual; rather, a burial date would be more likely to have been known.
Also, Margaret's son, Archibald, was, according to his profile, born years after her death, which is impossible. Archibald has been removed as John and Margaret's child.
Also, the given marriage date for this record occurred after the death of one of the spouses, so this date has been removed.
It is unlikely this person ever existed. If anyone has any primary sources to document this person and her family, please share the sources and the profile will be update.
