He married Abigail Tuttle about November 1, 1718 in Ipswich, MA. there were five children from this marriage:[1]

Abigail Haskell - Born March 3, 1720/21 and passed
Abigail Haskell - Born July 31, 1724
Ward Haskell - Born June 27, 1734
Susannah Haskell - Born June 3, 1736

After Abigail's Death, William married again:

He married Susannah Worner/Parsons on September 12, 1739 in Gloucester, MA. there were six children from this marriage:

Lucretia Haskell - Born after August 20, 1739
Ward Haskell - Born before November 29, 1741
Anna Haskell - Born on August 18, 1743
Philemon Haskell - Born on October 13, 1745
Nathaniel Haskell - Born on July 27, 1747

William of Gloucester, known as Junior and as "Capt." this last because he was a master mariner, and as the majority of his descendants followed the sea, it is the exception that does not have this title. He was brought up in the trade by his father, and lived in Gloucester all his life.[2]
