Biography

Wikipedia: Bigorre (Gascon: Bigòrra) is an historically independent county, and later a province of France, located in the upper watershed of the Adour, in the Pyrenees, in southwest France. Today Bigorre makes up the central and western part of the département of Hautes-Pyrénées, with two small exclaves in the neighboring Pyrénées Atlantiques. Its inhabitants are Bigourdans.
His son Roger was ancestor of the Counts de Foix. His son Bernard was ancestor of the Counts of Bigorre.
