Biography
Frederick was born in 1859, son of George and Sarah/Sally.[1]
He married Nellie in 1882.[2]
He died in 1925 in California.[3]
Research Notes
His birth certificate says 15 Jun 1859 but his gravestone says 15 Jun 1860.
This is not Frederick Whitten (1861-1928), also from Maine, who married Emma Saunders and later, Bertha Seaboyer.

William & Co: Your Frederick looks a lot like our Frederick Whitten. The information we have on him is very sketchy. There's definitely at least more than one Frederick Whitten born in the 1860s in Maine.
