Biography
Birth
- Horace E. Gibbs was born in 1862, the son of Franklin Gibbs and Minerva J. (Marston) Gibbs.[1] He was living with them at Livermore, Maine, in 1870 at the age of 8.[2] In the 1900 Census, his birth date is given as February 1862.[3]
Marriage
- Horace E. Gibbs married Stella Mabel Goding.[1] They married on 26 Nov 1886.[4] The 1900 Census says they had been married for 13 years.[3]
Death
- The grave marker of Horace E. Gibbs at the Mount Auburn Cemetery in Auburn, Maine, is inscribed with the dates 1862-1949.[5]
