Biography
While some sources state that Mainfred is the starting point of the Percy line in France, others dispute this as being factual. Nothing certain is known about this line until William de Percy (c.1034-1096).

On the Geneology site familysearh.org the person Geoffrey de Percy is listed as the parent of William de Percy with two sources https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/176461151/geoffery-de_percy and https://www.mortinsen.com/languages/en/persons/Person_23960174.html The second source I was unable to open.
