Thomas Hiett [or Hyhatt or Hiatt] is listed in some online family trees as the son of Amos Hiett and Rachel Westfield, but no source is provided for this information (for example, see [1])
According to these unsourced trees, he was born about 1714 in either England or Pennsylvania, and died in 1776 in Pennsylvania.
Research Note
Neither Thomas nor his parents appear to be descendants of the known immigrant John Hiatt (approx 1696 England - 1764 Virginia), based on the "Hiatt - Hiett Genealogy and Family History", by William Johnson (Provo Utah 1951).[2]
