The "Necrology of Arnstein an der Lahn" records the death 5 July (after the year 1139) of Udelhyldis comitisse de Udenkirche, que fuit mater Ludewici fundatoris nostri in Arnsteyn. [1]

" Udelhild von Odenkirchen . Ludwig II died early (around 1115). The mother <Udelhilde> retired after attaining the majority of the son on the belonging to her as a dowry possession Odenkirchen. Later she lived as a canoness and gave her hereditary goods to the archdiocese of Cologne ; she was buried in Cologne Cathedral .
