Lucy's birth name was likely Lucille 'Lucy' Northum Percy, but all sources so far show her name as 'Lucy Percy'.
Lucy Percy, Countess of Carlisle, 1599, daughter of Henry Percy, 9th earl of Northumberland, married to John Hay, should NOT be confused with this Lucy Percy, c.1570, daughter of Henry Percy, 8th earl of Northumberland, married to (m1) John Wotton and then married to (m2) Hugh Owen. (See: [5],"Wikipedia: Henry Percy, 8th Earl of Northumberland", section 'Family'.
