McQuown-116 and McQuown-23 appear to represent the same person because: Same spouse (Margaret Lukens). Lee Orin McQuown, a son on McQuown-23, was a known son of Thomas Orr McQuown and Margaret Lukens. A merge will add dates and sources to McQuown-23. It will also add a son to McQuown-116. After completion of the merge, it will be necessary to merge the duplicate Margaret Lukens profiles.

McQuown-116 and McQuown-23 are not ready to be merged because: Lee Orrin mCQuown was born in 1879, 20 years after the other children. Henderson co. IL is on the left shoulder of Illinois while Pekin IL is in the center. Most civil war units were formed in a county or adjacent county. There are no sources for McQuown-23. Further research should be done on this merge.
