Biography
Francis Gatacre of Gatacre (d. 19 Jun 1590), succeeded his father William. He is the second husband of Elizabeth (d. 04 Apr 1616), d & h. of Humphrey Swinnerton (Swynnerton), esq. of Swinnerton, Staffs (d. 25 Aug 1562) and Cassandra Gifford (bur. 07 Jan 1570). She was previously married to William FitzHerbert (d. 1558).[1]
