Biography

Jonathan Treadway was born in Sudbury, Massachusetts Bay on November 11, 1640. He was the son of Nathaniel and Sufferana (Haynes) Treadway.

Jonathan married Judith Thurston on March 1, 1666 in Medford, Massachusetts Bay. They first settled in Medford and had their first child there. Then they moved to Sudbury where they continued to raise their family having seven additional children. Their children included: Lydia b. 1667 (in Medford); Nathaniel b. 1669 (in Sudbury); Jonathan b. 1670; James b. 1671; Hannah b. 1680; Ephraim b. 1681; Huldah b. 1687; and Benjamin abt. 1690.

Jonathan passed away on May 28, 1710 leaving Judith a widow.
