Married first (April 4. 1789, First Reformed Church,, Lancaster) ANNA ENGLE of Donegal Township, Lanc. Co. born August 6, 1765, died 1795. Christian Shelly married second ELIZABETH _____________ born April 4. 1766 died March 25, 1850. Buried Horst Graveyard. Anna Engle was the daughter of Ulrich Engle (bom July 1, 1743, died September 28, 1799 and Magdalina Bickslerr (born 1741, died September 13, 1821). Her grandfather was Ulrich (Yokeli) Engle,, founder of the River Brethern.
