Biography
From the 1914 edition of the Encyclopedia of Pennsylvania Biography: Illustrated, Vol. XIII (cited below),
"Ralph Peters, eldest son of Richard and Sarah (Robinson) Peters, was born November 28, 1777, in Yorktown (now York), Pennsylvania. He married Catherine Conyngham, daughter of David Hayfield Conyngham, who served from 1779 to 1781 in the celebrated Philadelphia Troop of Horse.
"Ralph Peters died November 11, 1842, in Lime Ridge, Columbia County, Pennsylvania."
