Biography

Quintin Hamilton is a member of Clan Hamilton.

Quintin Hamilton of Barncleuch was the son of James Hamilton of Barncleuch and Margaret Hamilton.[1] He was probably born before 1614 as he was infeft in Barncleuch on 21 May 1635.[1]

He married, before 1649, Marion Denholm.[2]

Quintene Hamilton died before 30 October 1667 when his inventory was confirmed in the Commissary Court of Hamilton and Campsie.[3]

Quentin and his wife had at least one child:

  1. John Hamilton (died without issue before 21 February 1705)[1]
