Dawn Higgins
Matilda Spence was born May 16, 1901 in Edinburgh, Scotland at orton Mains Farm where her Father was a groom. Her parents are Archibald Spence and Annie Campbell. Both her parents die by hte time she was 5. She was placed in St Trease home for girls at 18 Morningside Road Edinburgh, Scotland. Came to the States in 1927 and married my grandfather Charles A Higgins also from Scotland. Matilda had brothers Archibald, John and James. They were older than her. If anyone has any information about Matilda or her family I would love to hear about it.
