Biography

Lorenzo Dow Nerren was born in 1831 or 1832. He is understood to be the son of John Nerren and Elizabeth Mooney. In 1850, age about 19, he is enumerated on the federal census in Yalobusha County, Mississippi. ^[1] Dow married Sarah Holt in 1851. ^[2] In 1860 L. D. is enumerated on the federal census in Nacogdoches County, Texas. ^[3] In 1867 he appears on voter roles in Nacogdoches. ^[4] In 1870 Dow is enumerated on the federal census in Angelina County, Texas. ^{[5] [6]} In 1880 through 1910, Dow continues in Angelina County, Texas. ^{[7] [8]} He died 1916, Angelina County, Texas. ^{[9][10][11][12]}
