Biography

Benjamin was born in 1706. He is the son of Benjamin Cary and Susanna Kent.

Benjamin Cary, son of Deacon Benjamin, Sec. 11, b. Bristol, Rhode Island, 1706;
Married:
married Thankful Taylor, of Plymouth, 1733; purchased real estate in Providence, Rhode Island, and resided there, the house in which he lived being known as the "Old Deacon Cary House." He died in old age universally esteemed for his purity of character and life.

3. Thomas, b. 1741.
4. Nathaniel, b. 1743; married Mary Locke, of Dutchess County, New York, and had I. Absalom, d. unm.

6. Thankful, b. 1747; married James Aplin, of Otsego County, New York
7. Abigail, b. 1749; married Mr. Simons.
8. Susan, b. 1761; married Henry Vanderbin, of Dutchess County, New York.
9. George, b. 1763; went to South Carolina, married and settled there.
